Hospice House Campaign Receives $25,000 Grant
The Homecare & Hospice Foundation recently received notification that the Sheltering Embrace Hospice House Campaign will receive a $25,000 from the Capitol Federal Foundation of Topeka.

This grant, along with donations from local individuals and businesses, brings the total raised to just under $3.45 million.

The hospice house campaign has a $3.9 million goal to reach by its September 1, 2008 deadline. If the goal is not met the hospice house campaign and Riley county, stand to lose a $550,000 challenge grant from the Mabee Foundation of Tulsa, OK.

Future Site of Hospice House Now Clearly Marked
As we have previously mentioned, thanks to the generosity of Mary Vanier and Grand Mere Development the hospice house will be located in Grand Mere. The future location of the hospice house is now clearly marked by our site sign. We would like to encourage you to take a moment to drive by the beautiful site. It is located on Vanesta Drive just north of the new Grand Mere Village.
Donors Can Give to Hospice House Campaign Seven Different Ways
The Homecare & Hospice Foundation is more than willing to work with any individual interested in becoming a donor to the Sheltering Embrace Hospice House Campaign by arranging a cash gift and pledge, or a gift of securities, property, insurance, bequests and trusts.

Willingness to support this campaign will help to ensure that Homecare & Hospice meets their goal and brings $550,000 of out of state money to Riley County.
